Low Center of Gravity & Agility - The perfect weight distribution for demanding trails: The Speck Downtube Pack (1 liter) optimally utilizes the space on the down tube for heavy items that you rarely need at hand on the go, such as tools or spare parts. Direct mounting on the cargo cage achieves an extremely low center of gravity. This keeps your gravel or mountain bike maximally agile, aerodynamic, and fully controllable, even on long bikepacking adventures.

Abrasion-Resistant & Secure Fit - The lightweight, abrasion-resistant material is ideal for the toughest conditions on rocky and gravel roads. The bag is weatherproof, so the contents remain protected. With the help of the included TPU straps, the Downtube Pack sits securely on a suitable cargo cage from Fixplus or Tailfin. The mounting system works perfectly even in cold temperatures and can be easily operated with gloves.

Mounting & Packing Tips - First, mount the two Speck Gear TPU straps to the cargo cage according to the instructions. Make sure that the aluminum buckle is not on the drive side. Load the Downtube Pack with spare tubes, tools, and repair materials. Everything that is heavy but rarely needed. For a stable fit, the bag should be compactly filled. To close the bag, pull both plastic plugs apart and roll the end of the bag down at least three times, or until the contents are sufficiently compressed.
