Installation – Turn the M6 lock nuts onto the new eye bolts and screw them onto the base of the rack. You can then fine-tune the height of the rack using the eye bolts. When assembling, make sure that the rack is 20 mm above the highest point of the tire. Important: At least 10 mm of the eye bolt thread must remain in the rack bushing. Still have questions? With the help of a tubus thru-axle adapter and a seat clamp with a rack mount on the seat tube (Bontrager Clamp-Fix), the Y-Rack is also suitable for carbon frames, taking into account the frame specifications. Other manufacturers that offer compatible thru-axle adapters (M5 internal thread) are Topeak (UDH-compatible) and Old Man Mountain/Robert Axles. • Risk of injury due to improper assembly: When assembling, ensure that at least 10 mm of the eyebolt thread remains screwed into the rack's bush. Use the M6 self-locking nuts as specified. Tighten all connections to the recommended torque and check them after the first few kilometers as well as before each ride.
