All Speck Gear products are manufactured in specialized Swiss factories using European materials. Short supply chains and personal relationships with suppliers ensure the highest quality and fair production conditions. The materials used consist exclusively of high-quality raw materials and are free of harmful PFAS. They are designed for durability and repairability.

Innovative materials for maximum durability
To meet the extreme demands of bikepacking, Speck Gear, in collaboration with a German weaving mill, has produced its own sustainable textile. This durable 560 dtex SENSIL^® ToughTex ByNature fabric has been extensively tested and can withstand even the toughest conditions. It consists of a bio-based polyamide 6.6, which is made from 96% renewable raw materials. This innovation from Nilit^® and BASF reduces the use of fossil resources and makes an active contribution to environmental protection.

Durable and recyclable
Our aim is to create products that are not only functional and aesthetically pleasing, but also repairable and fully recyclable, enabling sustainable use for years to come. Our bikepacking accessories are designed to be easily disassembled and recycled at the end of their lifespan.

Smart Bikepacking
In the ideal bikepacking world, you're perfectly packed and tackling beautiful singletrack trails with a minimalist soft bag setup and the latest ultralight gear. But in reality, trail surfaces and weather conditions vary. Often, additional carrying capacity is needed – whether for a longer tour on unpaved roads, in changeable mountain weather, or on a multi-day trip between resupply points.

Compared to traditional panniers, mini panniers have a smaller capacity. This makes them lighter, slimmer in profile, and better suited for off-road riding. Their slim profile also makes pushing the bike effortless. Another advantage is that our mini panniers, thanks to their clever attachment system, are quicker and easier to mount and pack than most modern bikepacking bags. They stay securely attached to the rack, yet can be removed with a single movement and easily carried into a tent, bed and breakfast, or hotel.
