Protection & Function – The Protective Film is a transparent, flexible polyurethane film specially developed for frames and components. It effectively protects your rack from abrasion caused by the plastic hooks on our Mini Panniers. Thanks to innovative Glue Shield technology, no liquid is required for installation—the film can be applied quickly, dry, and easily. The Protective Film is extremely resistant to water, tearing, punctures, peeling, UV rays, and extreme temperature fluctuations.

Installation – Installation must be performed exclusively at room temperature. Wash your hands before application and thoroughly clean the surface of the rack with alcohol or isopropanol.

1. Mark the position & cut to size: Mark the exact positions of the plastic hooks on the carrier tube with a pencil. You can optimize the shape of the film by slightly rounding the corners before applying it.
2. Peel off the film: Carefully separate the protective film from the transfer paper so that only the transparent adhesive layer remains.
3. Align and apply: Place the film with the long side centered on the tube. Carefully smooth the film down from the center toward both sides, ensuring no air bubbles remain. The film can still be repositioned during this step.
4. Secure: Once you’re satisfied with the position, rub the film firmly with a soft cloth. This removes any remaining air and ensures a perfect bond to the surface.
5. Let it set: Do not load the rack for at least 12 hours to allow the adhesive to develop its full bonding strength. Any questions? Go directly to the FAQ.
